Extensions to our ideas

This past week we were extending our game program so that the image can be dragged around. Also we further improved the image/puppet so that it has one movable limbs (the arm). We also wrote a program that captured the person's face and then saves the image to a file which can be used as a face of the puppet.

Our plan for the folloing weeek is to further improve and write new programs which we will then bring to Nueva on wednesday for observations. Depending on our observations we will make changes or additions to our initial plan.

The programs we intend to test at Nueva are:

Program 1

Dragable body, one movable limb, Two Characters by default , Different background selection, Face capture in Mac environment
Clean up the body

Program 2

2-Click movement of body, tween motion, two characters by default, Use similar features with project 1

TUIO framework implementation for multitouch

Add Dragable Objects and observe what children are going to do

Program 3

Gravity Field game Research

We will also have a game with a simple objective using the wii whiteboard interface to see how the children react.
